The 8 ft by 8 ft L shaped sewing counter that has shelves on one end with a set of drawers on the other end. Brother Scan N Cut and embroidery thread and supplies fits perfectly on shelf.
Below is stained wooden shelving unit he built to store Cameo and vinyl supplies.
I purchased 4 of these Wire shelving units from Lowe's to store my ribbon.
This is a new addition to my craft room. We purchased two 6 cube organizers from Walmart, a white laminated counter top from Home Depot and wood for the front and sides of the counter top.
The mini cube organizer was purchased several years ago from Lowe's with the two drawer cabinet that was sold separately that also holds heat transfer vinyl
The small rolling shelf sitting under the counter my husband build awhile back for a print to sit on and now used for additional storage.
I painted the back side of the 6 cube organizer since it would be visible. Here I am showing how we attached the two 6 cube organizers under the counter top
We didn't put them right next to edge. Left about 1 1/2 inches from edge.
We put in 4 screws on each cube to attach
Both of the 6 cube organizers are attached to the underside of the counter top.
Here showing show my husband rounding the edge of the wood making it smooth and looking professionally made. This is the back of the counter.
Here is the finished DIY counter with organized storage units
My new sublimation printer arrived and fits perfectly on top of the new counter and I moved my heat press machine to this counter
I absolutely love my craft room. I have a 8 ft by 4 ft cutting table and shelving units in the basement where I store all of my fabric and patterns.
Hope you have enjoyed this DIY tutorial for getting organized for your craft room.
